This IgE antibody allergy test uses a blood sample to determine if you are allergic to pecan nuts. If your test results are positive, it is likely that you may be allergic to several other nuts as well. Since pecans are tree nuts, an allergy to other types of tree nuts is possible. These can include but are not limited to: almonds, pistachios, walnuts, pine nuts, and hazelnuts.
